Enabled Web Browsers
A key component of the Personalfax.net web site
security, is the use of Java applets. Java enables
Personalfax.net users to sign up for new accounts,
and to login and access their faxes and account information
on the web portal.
Personalfax.net requires that you have Java enabled
on your computer. Java is s a free download
from Java.com.
Not Sure if you already have Java on your PC?
Note: If you have a version of Internet Explorer,
less than 6.xx, your experience may be different.
- Launch Internet Explorer.
- Click on the Tools button and select
Internet Options

- In the Internet Options window, select the
Advanced Tab.
- Scroll down and make sure that Sun Java is
checked.
5. Press the "OK" button to close the tab.
If you don't have Java
(Sun) under the Advanced Tab, then you will need
to install Java.
Follow the instruction below for Java-enabling
your computer.
JAVA-enabling your PC computer:
- Click on the Java Button to go the Java
download page

- Once on the Java.com site, click on the
'Begin Download' button to start the download.
- Follow the detailed instructions on the
Java.com download page.
- When you are finished installing Java, close
all Internet Explorer windows.
- Open a new Internet Explorer window and go
back to the
www.personalfax.net website.
